The Sexiest Shows On TV

We love finding out about what makes our customers feel sexy, and this month we’ve turned our attention to researching the TV shows that are making viewers feel all hot under the collar.  

Whether it’s a date with a new fling dressed in your sexiest clothing, or an evening on the sofa in sexy lingerie with your other half, we all know that ‘Netflix and Chill’ promises much more than just binge-watching TV. But what shows should you watch together if you’re looking to turn the heat up?  

We shortlisted over 50 popular sexy TV shows and then analysed which ones are tweeted about the most alongside ‘sexy’ emojis, such as the horny devil face 😈, the drooling face 🤤, water splash 💦 and hot-and-thirsty face 😅. After analysing over 81,000 tweets, we can now reveal which 30 TV shows are making us feel super-sexy. 

So, turn down the lights, slip into some sexy lingerie, grab the remote and get ready for a very sexy Netflix and Chill session with these top shows. 

This American-British reality TV show first hit our screens in mid-April 2020 and became an instant lockdown hit. The basic premise of the show is watching how 10 super-hot contestants, who all enjoy ‘meaningless flings’, cope with being banned from kissing or doing anything sexual (with each other or themselves!). Those who can resist the temptation have the possibility of walking away with a bigger cash prize. The contestants dressed in sexy lingerie and swimwear clearly struggle to keep their hands off each other, and their thirsty ways seem to rub off on viewers, with over 3,300 tweets relating to the show including sexy sentiment emojis.  

Viewers’ obsession with how sexy the supernatural can be is seen in over 2,700 tweets that call out The Vampire Diaries as a show that gets them feeling racy. Premiering in 2009 and wrapping up in 2017, the seven seasons of the drama series are available to watch on Netflix and follows the life of Elena Gilbert and the eventual love triangle between her and vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore.  

The last season of the original smash hit Gossip Girl aired nearly nine years ago, but viewers still can’t get enough of the show with HBO releasing a new ‘second generation’ season this summer. Based on the lives of rich teens living in New York, the original Gossip Girl includes a spicy number of sexy scenes, from threesomes to scandalous affairs and lots of sexy lingerie of course!  

This Spanish thriller series has caught the attention of viewers around the world, in part thanks to its steamy sex scenes. It has all the classic makings of a binge-able high-school drama but with progressive plot lines that also tackle modern sexual issues. With titillating scenes that include voyeurism, threesomes, pool sex and forbidden hook-ups, it’s sure to get you in the mood.  

Although not typically billed as a sexy show, this epic TV show is still filled with erotically charged moments that gets its fans feeling all flustered and horny. From break-up (and make-up) sex to masturbation and passionate couplings, the show has garnered over 2,300 tweets which show viewers get those funny feels when they watch this classic hospital drama series.  

Another Spanish-language show inside the top 10, Valeria is billed as a sex-comedy that follows the life of a writer who feels something is lacking in both her marriage, and her writing. With the second season newly launched in August 2021, the show is making waves with viewers comparing it to Sex And The City, thanks to its focus on friendships and numerous hard-core sexy scenes.  

This gripping TV series caught the imagination of millions as it followed the murderous actions of New York bookstore and serial killer Joe Goldberg. The third season of the show is due to be released in late 2021, and fans of the show can’t wait to see more of the dangerously obsessive Joe.  

Another vampire-related show in the top ten, True Blood first aired in 2008 and concluded in 2014, and yet remains one of the most talked about sexy shows. The fantasy horror show follows the life of a telepathic waitress as she navigates a world where vampires can live with humans, and what happens when she finds herself falling in love with a one. The raunchy show has a whole raft of steamy scenes, including cemetery sex, break-up sex, dream sex and revenge sex.  

Another horror-related TV show that fans find very erotic, American Horror Story has racked up over 2,000 thirsty tweets. With ten seasons under its belt, the long-standing show continues to attract a massive fan base, especially with those who enjoy treading the line between sexy and scary.  

Famous for its raunchy scenes and full-frontal nudity, Game of Thrones has crept in as the tenth sexiest show according to Twitter users. Over 1,900 tweets about the show include thirsty emojis, with viewers sharing their raunchy thoughts about many of the characters’ sexiness. 

Our study also looked at which specific main characters from the TV shows are getting people most flustered.  

Whilst Riverdale only made it to #19 as the sexiest show, its character Jughead tops the charts as the specific TV character who gets the thirstiest emojis on Twitter. And again, Bridgerton only just manages to make it into the top 30 sexy programmes, but its characters Daphne and Anthony are tweeted about a lot with sexy emojis, with them ranking third and fourth, respectively.  

Creepy stalker Joe Goldberg makes it into the top six sexiest TV characters – the actor who plays him talks about why people find the character so sexy even when he’s so dangerous here. 

The sexiest character from Game of Thrones is revealed as Khal Drogo, played to great effect by Jason Momoa and his bulging biceps and flowing dark hair. The second Game of Thrones character to appear inside the top 15, is the red-haired witch Melisandre. 

Characters from Gossip Girl appear the most when looking at the top 15 sexiest TV characters, with Chuck ranking at #9, Blair at #13 and Nate at #14.
