Make Leg Day More Fun With Our Squat Challenge

Is it possible to make leg day fun? We’re not sure, but we’re going to give it a try. Inject a bit of fun into your next workout with our squat challenge. Part of our  #GetYourWiggleOn campaign we’re inviting you to get your squat on.  Whether you are using weights or your bodyweight, take on the challenge and see how many squats you can do.  

Give that beautiful peach a serious workout with one of the best bodyweight exercises there is. Working almost every muscle in the lower body, the squat also improves core strength by working the muscles around the stomach and lower back. It truly is the holy grail of exercises. Don’t put all of that squatting to waste, you’ll find pointers below on how to do the perfect bodyweight squat. 

How to do a bodyweight squat

  1. Stand with your hands by your side and your feet shoulder-width apart with your feet turned out slightly to open the hip joint. 
  1. Lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor. With the arms you can either clasp the fingers or hands or take the arms in front of you and take then hands to either elbow into a square shape. 
  1. Pause, then return to the starting position and release the arms back beside you. 
  1. Repeat.

Why not share how many squats you do? When you share a photo or video of you taking part in our squat challenge you will be entered in with the chance to win a year's supply of sportswear!
